| EDLA442 EDLA443 This unit focuses on the nature, uses and structure of language as applied to the teaching of literacy in the secondary English classroom. Through studying a variety of literary, non-literary, media and multi-modal texts, students will examine a range of principles and practices which teach speaking, listening, viewing, reading and writing skills. It also focuses on approaches to planning, teaching and evaluating units of work which implement relevant syllabus documents and which cater for a range of students with specific language needs. |
