| 10cp Human Resource Information Systems Prerequisites PERS200 Human Resource Processes and INFO101 Fundamentals of Information Systems. Teaching Organisation 4 hours per week for 12 weeks or equivalent. Students
will be introduced to the information technology that supports the human
resource management function in organisations. Emphasis will be placed
on the methodology that ensures the sound acquisition of application software
as well as the functionality of HRIS software. Relationships between information
needs of line and specialist management and the means of supplying that
information will be examined. Some exposure to various commercial software
applications and linkages to other software systems of core business will
