Field Experience

Prerequisites Students will normally have completed all Year 1 and Year 2 units and be enrolled in Year 3 of the course.

The University, in consultation with students and host organisations, arranges appropriate placements for students. Field Experience is normally for 15 days in the mid-year period between semesters.

Provides students with a wider range of experiences than those available in a formal lecture / tutorial / laboratory setting. It assists students to gain a broader knowledge and understanding of organisations operating in the areas of environmental planning, monitoring, assessment and management.
