This unit provides an opportunity to explore, develop, extend, and evaluate current approaches to policy development and planning in health care service delivery, with particular reference to nursing services. Managerial, operational, and strategic levels for policy and planning are critically examined. The participant will be encouraged to critique current approaches and to develop alternative approaches and strategies for health service organisations and nursing practice of relevance to participants’ practice environments. |
