Global Contexts of Midwifery

This unit provides opportunity for the student to critically appraise the international environment of midwifery politics and midwifery practice. The context of international midwifery in the developed and developing world will be explored. Women’s reproductive health and reproductive rights and their relationship to midwifery will be critically examined.
