10cp Nursing 5 The unit builds upon the foundation established in Semester 1, 2, 3 and 4. The focus of this unit is the comprehensive assessment using the functional health patterns as a framework and nursing of individual and groups across the life span who are requiring complex, long term or palliative care. Emphasis is placed on the integration of selected theories and principles of nursing practice and related concepts of pathophysiology.
