Clinical Practice 1 The unit provides students with the opportunity to study individuals, groups and health services within the community through theoretical and clinical practice experience. There will be an emphasis upon the needs of and services for the multicultural society. This unit will enable students to explore Australian Indigenous culture from an historical, social and cultural perspective. Indigenous health practices will be studied as well as the role of the nurse in assisting individuals to maintain and promote health and well-being.
