Economics/Business Curriculum and Teaching 2

This unit is the second of a two-unit sequence that is designed to develop in students a critical awareness of a range of approaches, resources and procedures applicable to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation in Economics, Commerce and Business Studies. The two units provide for cumulative development of planning skills from single-strategy through to whole-course planning. Similarly, they expose students to a range of increasingly complex strategies and resources. The sequence enables students to draw upon and extend skills and knowledge acquired in Professional Studies units and to apply these to their teaching subjects. In so doing, students will also draw upon their foundation studies in Economics and/or Business for subject area content.
