English Curriculum and Teaching 1

This, the first Curriculum Studies in English unit, focuses on the nature, uses and structures of language as applied to the teaching of literacy in the secondary classroom. Through studying a variety of literary, non-literary, media and multi-modal texts, students will examine a range of principles and practices which teach reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
