The World and Literature of the Bible

Prerequisites Nil

Teaching Organisation 3 hours per week for 12 weeks or equivalent.
An introduction to the background, history, culture and narrative literature of Ancient Israel and first century Christianity. This unit will involve a study of selected biblical texts, such as Genesis, Exodus, the Gospel of Mark and extra biblical texts.
