Organisational Dynamics and Change Management

Prerequisites Nil

Teaching Organisation 3 hours per week for 12 weeks or equivalent.

This unit provides an overview of organisational dynamics and change management. Its purpose is to offer a theoretical and strategically focused understanding of organisational dynamics incorporating dynamic processes such as decision making, power and politics, organisational communication and conflict management and the implications these have for change management. These concepts are examined incorporating organisational theory and behaviour. Participants are encouraged to take a strategic approach to the management of organisational change using contemporary organisational change theories and practices and determine the links between organisational dynamics and change management.
