Ethics and Organisational Governance

Prerequisites Nil

Teaching Organisation 3 hours per week for 12 weeks or equivalent.

Issues of governance and ethical dealings by organisational management are seen by those who interact with them as being of critical importance to their ongoing relationship with an organisation. This unit provides a foundation for subsequent further studies in management, as the ethical stance taken and the governance system adopted have significant impact on organisational relationships and all decisions taken. This unit is designed to help you to develop the skills and attitudes to enable you understand the importance of responsible organisational management. It combines knowledge and approaches from business, philosophy and theology in a form that can be used by managers in any organisational setting.
