Prerequisites Nil

Teaching Organisation 3 hours per week of lectures and 2 hours per week in laboratory for 12 weeks or equivalent.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF PSYCHOLOGY Introduction to methods and theories of human development, motivation, emotion, personality, stress, social interaction and cognition, abnormal behaviour, and psychological testing.

QUANTITATIVE METHODS Correlation and linear regression. Introduction to sampling, probability, inferential statistics, and elementary techniques of hypothesis testing.
