Prerequisites PERS200 Human Resource Management.
Teaching Organisation 3 hours per week for 12 weeks or equivalent.

The content of this unit is designed to build students' understanding in the design, formulation and implementation of the various systems of performance management, the dysfunctions of appraisal systems, theory and practice of appraisal interviewing and employee counselling, and the implementation of employee assistance programs. The discipline process is also examined, especially in relation to potential conflict with performance management systems.
