Employment Relations

Prerequisites Nil

Teaching Organisation. 3 hours per week for 12 weeks or equivalent.

This unit is concerned with the nature and significance of issues arising from the relationship between employees, managers and employers. The central purpose of the unit will be to make the student aware of problems which can potentially reduce organisational effectiveness and efficiency, but which, if properly handled, can also lead to practices which will enhance productivity and employer-employee satisfaction.
