Law for Managers

Prerequisites Nil

Teaching Organisation 3 hours per week for 12 weeks or equivalent.

This unit is an introduction to several major aspects of law that are relevant to the role of a manager in both private and public sector. It will consider the institutions of law, technique for working with law, contract law, sale of goods law, tort law, criminal law, company law and trade practices law.
