Upgrading Courses

The Faculty of Education offers a range of fee-paying courses, designed to allow students to pursue areas of academic and educational interest, leading to the completion of an additional qualification. Different specialties at varying levels are available in different states, and within different campuses in those states. Courses are available at the following levels:

§ Graduate Certificate
§ Graduate Diploma
§ Postgraduate Certificate
§ Postgraduate Diploma.

Normally, students who complete a Graduate Certificate are eligible to enrol in the Graduate Diploma which builds on studies completed in the Graduate Certificate course. Similarly, students who complete studies at the Graduate Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate level will normally be eligible to begin studies at the Masters level which build on achievements in their previous studies. In most circumstances, students may enrol directly into a Graduate Diploma if they wish to do so.

Courses are available in the areas of:

§ Adult and Community Education
§ Career Education
§ Child Protection
§ Early Numeracy
§ Educational Psychology
§ Educational Leadership
§ Educational Studies
§ Evaluation
§ Human Rights, Social Justice and Education
